Virtual Workshop Series: Expanding Our Reach Across North Carolina

Our mission is to build resilience and success for all North Carolina students and educators.

Launched in March 2025, our Virtual Workshop Series was created to connect and support educators across North Carolina. The series is offered in three parts across the fall and spring semesters, with live sessions held after the school day to make participation accessible.

Can’t make it live? No problem — all sessions are recorded so that you can learn at your own pace. Participants who attend live or view the recordings can earn a certificate of completion for 1.5 hours of professional learning.

Join us to learn together, strengthen resilience skills, add new tools to your educator toolbox, and connect with colleagues from across the state!

Past Sessions

The Fall 2025 Series was a free, three-part virtual series designed to redefine professional well-being for North Carolina’s PreK–12 educational community. By integrating neuroscience and trauma-informed principles, the workshops transitioned away from superficial self-care toward an understanding of stress and physiological regulation. The program targeted educators, support staff, and administrators to ensure that wellness strategies were both inclusive and supported at a systemic leadership level.

Spring 2025 Series was our Inaugural free, three-part Virtual Workshop Series! This series was designed to empower educators to create safer, more supportive trauma-informed school environments.

Each session was grounded in evidence-based practices and included practical toolkits to support implementation.
